How do you thoroughly clean a wall before a photo wallpaper application?

Step 1: Preparing the wall

It is important to properly prepare the wall on which you are going to install the photo wallpaper. Start by cleaning the wall with a vacuum cleaner or cloth. If there are old paint residues on the wall, use a scraper to remove them. If there are irregularities in the wall, fill them with plaster spray. Then let the wall dry and wipe away any dust residue.

Once you've finished preparing the wall, it's time to cut the photo wallpaper. Measure the dimensions of the wall and cut the wallpaper to size. Make sure you leave enough overlap for a tight fit.

Step 2: Applying the photo wallpaper

Start by applying the photo wallpaper at the top of the wall. Use a roller to roll out air bubbles and press the wallpaper well. Work your way down, being careful not to create any creases or air pockets. When you're done, use a utility knife to cut off any excess wallpaper.

Once you've finished applying the wallpaper, it's time to finish it. Use a sponge or cloth to remove adhesive residue and add additional adhesive if necessary. Allow everything to dry thoroughly before continuing.

Step 3: Finishing

Now it's time to add the finish. For example, you can add a border around the wallpaper for a nice effect. You can also add accessories such as frames or stickers for extra atmosphere. When you're done, check that everything is tight and that there are no air bubbles.

Your photo wallpaper is now ready! Enjoy your new look and let others know how easy it was to install a photo wallpaper yourself.
