Can I cut a picture, mirror it or change the colors?

You can edit your chosen picture until it is completely satisfactory . You can turn it, mirror it or change the colors to black and white. The alterations will only be saved once you have put the product into your shopping cart. So have fun with our editing tool!

Do the colors of my print match those on my computer screen?

The color reproduction depends on your specific screen settings. As a result, the delivered product may differ slightly from the photo shown.   When printing, we use the original ICC profile of the image, so we print exactly as specified by the photographer.  Complaints about such deviations will therefore not be accepted.

Is the photo still of good quality when it is enlarged?

All photos on our website are suitable for large format printing. These photos are taken by professionals and undergo extensive quality control at Adobe. That is why you can assume that the quality is certainly good. In addition, our employees always do a second check before printing. Please note, if the photo contains blurry elements (such as backgrounds or photos that are deliberately focused on one element), these will also remain blurry after printing.

If you still have doubts, you can request a proof when placing your order. When choosing the shipping method, you can enter a comment in the field provided. If you want to choose a different photo after receiving the sample file, you can send it to us by email and we will make the necessary adjustments.

Will the text "Adobe Stock" also be printed?

No, a thread mark will never be printed. This only shows that the photos are protected with copyright.

Can I get some more information concerning the wall fixing systems?

The aluminum frame is our best-selling fixing system. It is attached to the back of your painting at 15 cm from the edge and is therefore completely invisible. Your photo will hang about 2 cm from the wall, making it look like it is floating on the wall.

We also offer stainless steel (RVS) spacers. You can choose from stainless steel spacers with holes or with clamp. With these you can attach your photo to the wall through holes in the painting or by clamping it between the spacers. Both fixing systems are visible and ensure that your painting hangs about 2 cm from the wall.

Is the used ink safe for children?

We guarantee that our inks and machines are 100% human and environmentally friendly. You can therefore safely hang our products in (nursery) schools, hospitals, public institutions, children's rooms, etc.

I want to use my own picture. How do I know if the quality is suited?

To guarantee a qualitative result, your photo must be at least 1000 x 1000 pixels with a minimum resolution of 150 DPI. You can upload photos of minimum 1 MB and maximum 20 MB on our website. Larger files can be sent via WeTransfer, after which we will provide you with the order link. Read more about this on our blog "Does my photo have the correct resolution?".

If you still have doubts, you can request a sample file when placing your order. When choosing the shipping method, you can enter a comment in the field provided. If you want to choose a different photo after receiving the sample file, you can send it to us by email and we will make the necessary adjustments. The delivery period starts as soon as we have received your final confirmation.

Why are certain areas in my photo blurry?

When using the photo technique "selective focus", also known as portrait mode, certain parts of a photo are deliberately sharpened. The other parts are considered as background, so they are less sharp and are printed accordingly. This is not a printing error as the original photo was taken with this photo technique.

Some photos have texts like "lipsum", "abstract" or "logo" on them. Can I change these?

These texts can be printed or replaced with a text of your choice. In the third step of the checkout process, you can add your instructions in the comments.

The preview shows an 8-digit number at the bottom right. Will this also be printed?

No, the photo number is never printed.

Will the colors look exactly like on my screen?

The colors of the photo as they appear on your screen may differ slightly from the actual colors on the print. These differences are due to individual monitor settings, lighting or the chosen material.

This is especially true for designs with gold, silver and copper elements. On a classic print, the gold, silver and copper detail is not shiny as it is just a printed version of the original color.

As for the material

One material is not the other. Not only the weight and texture of the material in question are important when printing, but also the hue. White is not always white. Some materials have a yellow undertone, others eg blue or silver (such as brushed aluminum prints). The results of printing on the different materials will differ, even when using exactly the same ink.

Besides the basic color of the chosen material, the way of printing is also important. A different printer is used for the different materials. The same print made with different printers will cause color differences. Even though our printers are systematically calibrated, unfortunately we cannot guarantee that products with the same image or pattern will look exactly the same when printed on different printers.
